We were not surprised that the Inspection Team who visited us in June 2006 found us to be a happy, thriving, successful school, which prepares pupils well for the next stage of their education. Nor that Ofsted reported in their June 2008 inspection of our Foundation stage that "The quality of teaching and learning is outstanding. Children's attitudes to learning, their behaviour and general level of engagement are excellent, aiding them to make superb progress."

As Head I was particularly pleased with their comment that "leadership and management are outstanding and extremely effective in promoting an inclusive environment in which every child matters."
