Paul Burgess Well done Paul Burgess, who came first in the ISA (London South) cross-country race at Frewen College in East Sussex last Thursday (28th Jan). Paul will now represent the ISA (London South) at Princethorpe in the Midlands in the national final.

Open Days set for the Coming Year

Open Days offer an opportunity for parents who think our school may be the best place for their children to come and see us in action. You will meet the Head Teacher, Mrs Baines, and have a thorough tour of the school, meeting staff and pupils along the way. Open Days this year will be:-

• Wednesday 3rd February 2010, 1.30pm till 3.00 pm
• Wednesday 23rd June 2010, 1.30 pm till 3.00 pm

VFPS achieves outstanding performance in SATs

The cohorts of pupils taking SATs at Key Stages 1 and 2 have done us proud this year.

At Key Stage 1 100% of pupils achieved Level 2 in Literacy (Reading), Numeracy and Science.

At Key Stage 2 100% of pupils achieved Level 4 in Literacy and Numeracy, with 94% gaining Level 4 in Science.
